We Are IVY
38 Years of Legacy
From a single school in Rawalpindi in 1988 to Pakistan's most decorated education group — the story of Roots IVY.
The Beginning
One School. One Vision. 1988.
In 1988, Mrs. Riffat Mushtaq established the first Roots School at 74 Harley Street, Rawalpindi — with a singular conviction that Pakistani children deserved a world-class education built on child-centred, Montessori-inspired principles. At a time when rote learning dominated classrooms across the country, Roots IVY dared to be different.
What began as a single school serving the twin cities has grown, over 38 years, into a multi-campus, multi-institution education group producing Guinness World Record holders, Cambridge top students, and graduates now at Harvard, Oxford, MIT, Cambridge, and Stanford. The name has changed. The ambition — and the standard — never has.
